Turku in stereo

Oct 4, 2010

Few stereo snapshots of the Turku city, all in magical 3d. Taken about a week ago on the way to Stockholm. Turku is a beautiful place on the western side of Finland, one of the biggest cities in the country, and with a rich history background. One of the most popular historical places in the town is Turku Castle, located next to the harbor. It was built in 11th century, at some point was serving as the main castle in the country, and it looks grey and dull.

Though we are not covering Turku Castle this time, I managed to snap some pictures of the city centrum. Check it out. Also pictures can be found on Flickr in two traditional versions – some color anaglyph and full color side-by-side. If you are a lucky owner of 3D Vision system, go for the latter.
