NVidia 3D Vision driver update

NVidia 3D Vision driver update

May 26, 2010

NVidia has updated its 3D Vision driver to the version 1.27. Fresh version of the driver includes improved support for the bunch of GPU:s and monitors, new ViewSonic 3D Vision ready projectors are supported, and the main thing – it includes 3D support for the Starcraft 2! Though the game itself won’t be available until July 27. But it’s never too late to be prepared. And then again you might be a lucky one with the access to the Starcraft II beta.

Some rumors also claims that with this new driver you’ll be able to playback Blue ray 3D discs. The only change I notice so far after update is that the driver announced “you have a multi GPU system, cool!”. There is a new setting page for the GPU usage / PhysX settings now in the NVIDIA Control Panel:

Note that this driver is a beta release. That’s the reason why Windows 7 complains when trying to install it.

Is there any chance they would support WinXP?

Don’t think so. Official requirement for NVidia 3D Vision is either Vista or Windows 7. Should be a good reason for that.

Again, one more reason to upgrade :D
