Helsinki Long Exposure 3D

Helsinki Long Exposure 3D

May 30, 2012

A bit of experimental approach to the stereoscopic photography. The following pictures are shot last weekend around the Helsinki city with a long(er) exposure time. Usually it’s a bit tricky to get long exposure shots done in a bright sunny day with a normal lens. Thanks to the set of dark neutral density glasses I managed to increase exposure time up to 4 seconds without burning the image. Long exposure pics are pretty common during the night time. This time however you can enjoy stereoscopic pictures with a long exposure shot during a bright sunny day.

I’ll probably do a separate post with more technical details, if anyone interested. Basically it is bunch of dark glasses on both cameras, one tripod and a custom rig to fix both cameras together.

If you prefer 3D Vision, or any other 3d format, you should check the links in the end of this post. Right here you can enjoy pictures in half-colored anaglyph. You will need red-cyan 3d glasses for watching.

Enjoy!
