Hämeenlinna 3D

Hämeenlinna 3D

Hämeenlinna is a town in the middlepoint between Tampere and Helsinki. The highway number 3 is going straight through the city center, yet isolated from the actual city. If you happen to drive on that highway, all you see of Hämeenlinna is the Castle of Häme, lakes and some shopping centers. Yet Hämeenlinna is a very old and very beautiful city, which has something that Tampere and Helsinki don’t. It has own castle.

According to Wikipedia, Castle of Häme was already in year 1249. That’s a lot of hsitory. For the past century it was used mainly as a prison. Not anymore, though. Now there are bunch of museums, and lots of rocks. Prison museum, historical musem and the castle museum are a very nice places to spend a day. And that’s what I did on Saturday.

To be honest, weather wasn’t perfect this weekend. It was raining whole Friday, got a little better on Saturday. While I was in the castle, huge black coulds came upon and struck with lightnings. That’s the reason why those rocks are a little bit wet – had to do the pictures after the thunder was over. I managed to snap few pictures of the city center, before the rain started over.

As usual there are anaglyph and color side-by-side versions of the pictures. Side-by-side is the main bunch, and anaglyphs are picked on the best looking basis.
