Gold award on 3D Vision Live

Apr 3, 2012

3D Vision Live portal is a place for uploading your stereo photos and getting comments from other stereographers. It is also a place where you have a chance of receiving a honorary award from the moderation. Last week I was lucky enough to get a gold award for the picture from St. Peter’s Basilica, taken during our epic stereo trip last October. Actually I managed to snap a decent amount of 3d pictures around the Vatican city, including some pictures from the top of the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica. Inside the Basilica was pretty dark, but still with help of steady hands and newest Lightroom noise removal tools the pictures turned out pretty nicely. You can check the awarded picture here:

Also 3D Vision Live is running a monthly contest for the best 3D photo. So far it was only for US residents. However they added more countries in the March competition. Here is the full list of the countries allowed to participate in the contest:

The March Photo Contest is similar to February’s with the notable exception that we’ve opened it up to more countries to participate! This contest is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Russia, Australia, and the United States and Canada. (Note: if you are from one of the countries listed here and submitted photos for the February contest and were not eligible, please feel free to submit these images again.)
