Flower week in Tampere

Flower week in Tampere

Aug 2, 2010

In addition to the all-time temperature record in Finland, last week was the Flower week in Tampere. As you can judge from the name, lots of flowers were involved. Giant wheel was once again installed on the central square, attracting local population to view their life from above. Coffee, pastry and musical performances were also part of the event. I snapped few stereo pictures of the city during event. Check them out.

Last one is a rare shot. Here you can see another stereographer in Tampere. They are a rare breed, you know. Riku is shooting here 3D timelapse video, with dual Canon EOS 5D Mark II:s and custom made rig. His rig even has a feature of adjustable interaxial distances between cameras – something that mine lacks.

As usual you can see the anaglyph slideshow on Flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/karismafilms/sets/72157624486295007/show/

Even more pictures are available in full color side-by-side, here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/karismafilms/sets/72157624610872412/
